Following are the (5)submitted story treatments. Thanks to all who submitted such great ideas.

Things to note: You are asked to vote on (2) concepts. Note that the show will be similar in scope to others we have done. You are asked to vote on the story elements and the fun of what we think we can make from it. The selected story will be built into that scope in whatever way you may see that it is missing.

Your instructions are as follows: Read the treatments and vote on two. We will provide you ballots in the comming weeks.

This is a new dance matrix reflecting the changes and updates in personnel etc. This is by no meanse the "set in stone" version. It will adjust as needs present themselves. Although as the dances are set, changes will reduce.

Some highlights: Donna, Alice, and Angelica have been removed, Lynn and Dan have been added. The "Act 1 recap" has been removed in favor of a one couple solo. (Thanks for taking that on!!) the Hip Hop number has been removed as well.

Please look it over and be sure that you have (or have not) been effected.

Studio Swing Choreography

Studio swingers ;-) Attached is the choreography for the Studio Swing routine. To look it over a cursory understanding of Microsoft excel helps. When you open it you will see tabs across the bottom of the sheet. The left most tab is the choreography spelled out, reading left to right: "who" is exactly that, who is in the routine, "Line prep" is my series of pictures that spell out the second half of the routine, "Tableau 1" is the representation of the framed pose scenario, "Tableau 2" is a picture of the ending pose.

As promised, attached are the two showcase story treatments to choose from. They will be read at a special rehearsal/meeting on May 20th. I look forward to another great show!!

The story treatments are to be treated as copyrighted material, not to be modified or distributed. They belong to the authors exclusively; Molly Manor and Bill Zahner. See me with any questions.

They are in .pdf format. If that presents a problem for anybody please reply to me, Ken or Jeff. One of us can put it in a form that you can read (but not modify ;-)

Team, attached is the complete set and prop chart for the May show. I had to make some adjustments from what we worked out on Sunday. So please check over the list for your name next to a set or prop to be moved. This is what we will be using on Wednesday and all run throughs and shows going forward.

Buenos Aires bar scene: Salsa

In Act 2 of A Chance To Dance: Secrets In the Stars, the cruise makes an unexpected stop in Buenos Aires, and the passengers visit a Tango bar and explore the local dance scene.

This is also known as "Tango Bar 3" in our practice schedule. This is the Salsa portion of the last medley routine performed by the Formation Team. Music used for this number is an edited excerpt from I Wanna (Shall We Dance) by Gizelle D'Cole & Pilar Montenegro.

Chess Dance: the Signature Ball of the S.S. Stargazer

This is a number involving the full cast of characters in Act 2 of A Chance To Dance: Secrets In the Stars.

All the passengers and crew aboard the cruise will dress in their very best to dance at the Chess Ball. Come and see what our adventure-seeking passengers shall find.

Backlead Follow: He Just Wants to Cha Cha

Backlead Follow (BF) is one of the routines in A Chance to Dance: Secrets In the Stars. It features six of the characters in the show: Kate the Hollywood star, Alberto the bullfighter, Isabella the classy doll, Samuel the quirky inventor, and Rocky and Doris, a feisty couple from 'Jersey.
