The USA Dance Seattle Dance team performs at a variety of functions.  Below is just a sample of where we have performed in the last year.  To see pictures / videos from some of our past performances, please go to Performances.

Recent Events:

Dec 31st, 2008:  Dancesport International New Year's Eve.  The team performed the ladies only routine, "Fly Me To The Moon."  More details can be found at http://www.dancesportseattle.com/  

Dec 19th, 2008:  Abaya's Ballroom.  The team performed a ladies only routine called "Fly Me To The Moon."

Dec 6th, 2008:  Microsoft Conference Center Christmas party.  The Team took place in the 70's room for the christmas party event.

Nov 1st, 2008: Dancesport International Halloween Dance. The team performed, and just in general had a good time dancing, at the annual halloween event put on in our normal rehearsal space, hosted by our coach. More details at http://www.dancesportseattle.com/  

Oct 31st, 2008: Mountaineers Halloween dance. The team performed at the last dance hosted in the Mountaineers dance hall before it was closed.

October 25th, 2008: Northwest Dancesport Championships. The USA Dance chapter hosts a qualifying event for national dance competitions. The team performed in this event. For more information visit www.nwdsc.org

Sep 24th, 2008: Team Open House. All were invited to come in and take part, and just have a good time dancing.

Sep 20th, 2008: National Ballroom Dance Week Kickoff: The team performed 3 routines at this annual event, held again this year at the Seattle Center, Center House.

Sep 13th, 2008: Fire and Ice Fundraiser. The dance team participated as dancers at the Kitsap Country Medical society fundraiser held on the Bangor Naval Sub Base over near Bremerton. We had a blast, as did all the participants.

Aug 1-3, 2008: Seattle Star Ball. The USA Dance team performed at this annual event, and many on the team were volunteers, helping to make the competition a success. For details about the competition Click Here

May 10th, 2008: Dance Band with Dance Hosts. The USA Dance chapter hosted a live band dance event at the Washington Dance club. Many members of the dance team were will there as participants.

4/20/08: King 5 Health Living Expo: The team put on an hour and a half show including 9 different dances. This took place at the Qwest Field Exhibition Center.

2/23/08, 2/24/08, 4/12/08, 4/13/08: Take the Floor and DANCE!: The USA Dance Seattle performance team put on a theatrical show, full of comedy, drama, and, of course, Dance!

03/08/08: Nile Center: The team performed its Viennese Waltz at an event at the Nile Center.

The team's 2006 showcase production (performed in May and June), A Chance To Dance: Secrets in the Stars, was an original "dancical" show—all the makings of a musical (minus the singing). This ballroom dance showcase featured 14 original dances choreographed by the USA Dance Seattle Performance Team and local professional dance instructors.
